SPRING, SPRING, SPRING.....

I need to post before I burst into song.....cuz that is what my blog title is, a song title...(See Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.....GOOOD MOVIE.....)
I chose the title only cuz what I am about to post about is sumting you might think about when you think of spring......RABBITS!!!!!!!!
Tonight my mom and I went to pick up some rabbit cages we were getting for some Califonia Whites (good meat rabbit) we are getting soon, and the breeder we picked them up from had Lion Head Rabbits....appearanty(or however you spell that) they are a relativly new breed....I had heard of them....didn't like the name....and the fact that beyond looks they are almost useless.....ok they do give fertilizer.....but so do Cals, with meat and good furs.....well, my mom saw them....AND FELL IN LOVE WITH ONE.....so we ended up buying a breeding pair...we got them like half price, cuz the guy is getting out of the breeding business...and you can fetch a good price for them, cuz they are a special breed....so mom wants to get her money back that way.....we got a toirtase shell greyish blackish pretty boy, named Ragamuffin....the one my mom LOVED....and one that I picked, a red female, who I named Aslan, just cuz she is lion colored, and is a LION HEAD rabbit......and it fits....it almost sounds like a girls name.....if you didn't know about Narnia....;P

A Little History Lesson....some knowledge you may not know

I recieved this in an email from a friend, and thought it good material for a post, especially since I love History, and didn't know this...
ENJOY

A History lesson for all.

Who Was Haym Solomon? History from a $1 Bill-Fascinating!

On the rear of the One Dollar bill, you will see two circles. Together, they comprise the Great Seal of the United States. The First Continental Congress requested that Benjamin Franklin and a group of men come up with a Seal. It took them four years to accomplish this task and another two years to get it approved.

If you look at the left-hand circle, you will see a
Pyramid.

Notice the face is lighted, and the western side is dark. This country was just beginning. We had not begun to explore the west or decided what we could do for Western Civilization. The Pyramid is uncapped, again signifying that we were not even close to being finished. Inside the Capstone you have the all-seeing eye, an ancient symbol for divinity. It was Franklin's belief that one man couldn't do it alone, but a group of men, with the help of God, could do anything.

'IN GOD WE TRUST' is on this currency.

The Latin above the pyramid, ANNUIT COEPTIS, means, 'God has favored our undertaking.' The Latin below the pyramid, NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM, means, 'a new order has begun.' At the base of the pyramid is the Roman numeral for 1776. (MDCCLXXVI)

If you look at the right-hand circle, and check it carefully, you will learn that it is on every National Cemetery in the United States. It is also on the Parade of Flags Walkway at the Bushnell, Florida National Cemetery, and is the centerpiece of most heroes' monuments. Slightly modified, it is the seal of the President of the United States, and it is always visible whenever he speaks, yet very few people know what the symbols mean..

The Bald Eagle was selected as a symbol for victory for two reasons: First, he is not afraid of a storm; he is strong, and he is smart enough to soar above it. Secondly, he wears no material crown. We had just broken from the King of England. Also, notice the shield is unsupported. This country can now stand on its own. At the top of that shield you have a white bar signifying congress, a unifying factor. We were coming together as one nation. In the Eagle's beak you will read, 'E PLURIBUS UNUM' meaning, 'from many - one.'
Above the Eagle, you have the thirteen stars, representing the thirteen original colonies, and any clouds of misunderstanding rolling away. Again, we were coming together as one.

Notice what the Eagle holds in his talons. He holds an olive branch and arrows. This country wants peace, but we will never be afraid to fight to preserve peace. The Eagle always wants to face the olive branch, but in time of war,
his gaze turns toward the arrows.

They say that the number 13 is an unlucky number. This is almost a worldwide belief. You will usually never see a room numbered 13, or any hotels or motels with a 13th floor. But think about this:

13 original colonies,
13 signers of the Declaration of Independence ,
13 stripes on our flag,
13 steps on the Pyramid,
13 letters in 'Annuit Coeptis,'
13 letters in ' E Pluribus Unum,'
13 stars above the Eagle,
13 bars on that shield,
13 leaves on the olive branch,
13 fruits, and if you look closely,
13 arrows.

And finally, if you notice the arrangement of the 13 stars in the right-hand circle you will see that they are arranged as a Star of David. This was ordered by George Washington who, when he asked Haym Solomon, a wealthy Philadelphia Jew, what he would like as a personal reward for his services to the Continental Army, Solomon said he wanted nothing for himself but that he would like something for his people.

The Star of David was the result. Few people know that it was Solomon who saved the Army through his financial contributions but died a pauper. Haym Solomon gave $25 MILLION to the Continental Army, money that was extremely important to our independence from England .

I always ask people, 'Why don't you know this?' Your children don't know this, and their history teachers don't know this. Too many veterans have given up too much to ever let the meaning fade. Many veterans remember coming home to an America that didn't care. Too many veterans never came home at all..

I, for one, plan to share this page with everyone, so that they can learn what is on the back of the UNITED STATES ONE DOLLAR BILL, and what it stands for!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

I MADE SOMETHING!!!!!

I just got done making Homemade Laundry Soap.....It took about 15 minutes tops.....the time between when i last posted....And that included grating the soap to dissolve.....I had help from my loving bro childofGod247..so now we will be able to save some money on laundry.....it was really easy...1/3 cup Felsnaptha Soap, 1/2 cup Borax, 1/2 cup of Washing Soda(not baking), dissolve soap in 1 qt. water, add B and WS, stir till dissolved, add to 2 qts of water in bucket(at least 1 gallon) then add any scents you want(I went a little seasonal out of the small essential oil collection we have, Orange and Cloves). add the last qt of water to equeal 1 gal....let sit until cool, and gelled.....then put in storage container, we used an old store bought laundry detergant container, and you only need to use about 1/4 a cup (half a lid) or less (I heard somwhere you only need enough soap in the laundry to make a few bubbles on top of the water with the clothes in there....not tons of suds like in the movies...the best way is to do a load and see how many bubbles are on top, and adjust from there, I make sure there is a ring around the outside....thats it.....my clothes are plenty clean....so it works...)
hope this helps someone, I realize that some of you already make homemade laundry detergant....but I thought i would share.....

Lead Me......

I love the message in this song. It talks about a Husband/Father standing up and taking his true role as Head of The Family.  so here are the lyrics:

Sanctus Real - “Lead Me”

I look around and see my wonderful life
Almost perfect from the outside
In picture frames I see my beautiful wife
Always smiling
But on the inside, I can hear her saying...

“Lead me with strong hands
Stand up when I can't
Don't leave me hungry for love
Chasing dreams, what about us?

Show me you're willing to fight
That I'm still the love of your life
I know we call this our home
But I still feel alone”

I see their faces, look in their innocent eyes
They're just children from the outside
I'm working hard, I tell myself they'll be fine
They're independent
But on the inside, I can hear them saying...

“Lead me with strong hands
Stand up when I can't
Don't leave me hungry for love
Chasing dreams, but what about us?

Show me you're willing to fight
That I'm still the love of your life
I know we call this our home
But I still feel alone”

So Father, give me the strength
To be everything I'm called to be
Oh, Father, show me the way
To lead them

Won't You lead me?
To lead them with strong hands
To stand up when they can't
Don't want to leave them hungry for love,
Chasing things that I could give up

I'll show them I'm willing to fight
And give them the best of my life
So we can call this our home
Lead me, 'cause I can't do this alone

Father, lead me, 'cause I can't do this alone

I SAY COUGARS, YOU SAY PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!

So I am a little delayed, since football season started like a month and a half ago.....BUT.....I have to post on it.....
So, For those of you who don't know me, besides blog world, and for those of you who havn't seen this side of me, I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!! I love to watch AND I LOVE to play....of course, I don't actually know much more than what your average football watcher knows...I understand downs and yardage, and i know the difference between offense and deffense, AND I KNOW WHICH TEAMS TO ROOT FOR!!!!!!! but I don't know 'plays'....so i just play catch with my brothers......but this year....MY BROTHERS JOINED A HOMESCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM IN THE AREA, AND I GET TO GO TO GAMES EVERYWEEKEND......talk about happiness......;P we are the COUGAR's.......and we RULE.......well mostly, Our Varsity, which means really good high school players, or in our case, since we don't have many high schoolers at all, our high school players; is doing pretty well, we are 3 wins, 3 losses, and the guys are working hard, at least from my standpoint. My brother on that team could tell you that they could do better, but hey, at least we do manage to win some games.....and we have beaten the statistics even in the games we lost....not losing by as much as 'THEY' (don't know who that is) said......But I am really a major JR. HIGH fan.....my middle brother, who is the youngest biological....(no discrimination intended, but sometimes it is just plain hard to explain, cuz when i say my 'older' brothers, people think i, rightfully, mean that they are older than me, but what i really mean is the older boys in the family, cuz i am the oldest......) kid......he and my oldest brother are the same size, but he is JH, and the older one is Varsity, but compared to the kids on the JH team, he is about avarage size, while the Older is....uh...how shall i say it.....small...........so he dosen't get a whole lot of playing time....Now.....the JH boy is a starting Deffensive player....and he LOVES it....and I am so happy, cuz i have a football player brother.....so yup....I go crazy over football.....HEY, I ALREADY AM CRAZY!!!!!!;P......oh....like I forgot to mention....OUR JH IS UNDEFEATED......we just defeated an undefeated last night.......I'M SO HAPPY, OH SO HAPPY........and I think i ran out of things to type......for now......sorry for such long absences.....I am trying to stay on top of things school, home and musical instrument related, and if i don't get enough done, I don't usually do anything, except check email every now and then.....I just needed a small break.......from monotony.......and ADVANCED MATHEMATICS.........AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH......sorry but right now, I want to throw that book out the window.....but i don't want to have to buy a new window.......so yeah....it stays......anyway......BYE BYE NOW........
