Hi, it's me......Woo.....you might not remember me......Yeah, it's been awhile...;}

Like I said, it's been awhile.....but I had a few minutes......So i thought i would kinda tell what I have been up to....
So this weekend my family and I took a trip down to Ben Wheeler, TX.....or up......or left .....or right....I am horrible with directions......

So actually THIS weekend my family went camping.....but 2 weekends in a row we did go to Ben Wheeler TX, cuz my brothers were going to a guys camp called LTC, or Leadership Training Camp....and we needed to pick them up and drop them off......so we also visited friends who lived in the area....ON A FARM.....*FUNNESS*.......they have horses and cows and goats and chickens and dogs and cats and......LOTS OF WILD ANIMALS.....with reports of a panther siting.....somwhere around, though by the way they talked, it wasn't within a few miles of their place, but still, i didn't like being outdoors after dark......They also have a GIGANTANEGANORMOUS garden......with springfed soil, so they don't have to water as much......definetly a gardeners dream come true (Trust me, right now i would LOVE spring fed soil.......my plants don't enjoy rations of water in this heat.....but of course, if it were up to me, they would have all the water they desired......) Fortunetly it has rained quite a bit this spring, and they are doing all right.......for now......let's see what summer brings......:P my real trouble is insects......i have never used mulch before, but under the suggestion of a friend (who knows what their talking about) i added the plentiful leaves to my garden to help hold in moisture, and keep the soil from getting as compacted.....but they turned out to be a perfect nest for ...of all things...PILL BUGS......or rolly pollies.....who hence forth have been old childhood play bugs, with no injure toward me whatsoever........but who have recently showed a more aggresive side, and are forever hereafter regarded as sworn enemies.....at least on my side......any way.......this wasn't supposed to be about my gardening woes....where was I.......Oh....well so this last week before camping was a fastpaced busy week, filled with packing and trying to stay at home to pack, which was scary for me, for for the first time I had to pack the whole trip, or at least be the brains behind it, make sure i got everything on the list, cooked all the bread (we are gluten free, and the best bread is usually the homemade stuff......)becuz momma had to finish the montly report for my dads business, and it had to be turned in Friday afternoon.......right about the time we had to leave........so she was busy, and if we wanted to go camping at all, we had to pack.........and being the oldest.....i was in charge......it was an experience, and i now understand how mom can get so flustered and distracted while packing for trips, and why she would like some help, cuz even with help, i was still overly busy.......all that said, it was a LOVERLY camping trip......well....all except for the storm that hit 3 hours after we got there.....fortunetly my brothers, who were primitive camping, so left early with some friends, had set up our tent, so when we arrived at midnight, and got to bed at one....we didn't get caught in the storm.....but we woke up at 3 in the morning to VERY VERY VERY VERY strong winds.....our tent we securly fastened to the ground, but I thought it was going to blow away.....some friends of ours almost did blow away, but they managed to keep it down.....we also got hail, and hard rain, there was a lot of lightening, but i don't remember that much thunder, maybe becuz there wasn't much, or i disregarded it cuz the wind lightening and hail were the worst part.....I knew the thunder itself couldn't hurt me......Anyway, the next day was full of hiking, wading and waiting for the boys to come back from primitive (some of us met them part way and welcomed them 'Home'), then MORE hiking(not complaining, I LOVE hiking, and as soon as I arrived at Lost Maples (the park) even  though it was midnight, i knew i didn't want to be cooped up around the campsite the whole time, i wanted to explore as much as possible.....and i still do.....I am itching to go  back....(HINT HINT)....)and MORE wading.....then we had 2 birthday parties, one for a close friend, and another for my brother......who suprisengly didn't want anybody to know about his birthday, but, unbeknownst to him, mother had already told, and he was SHOCKED to hear that we would be celebrating his birthday, let alone that there was a CAKE that a friend had made for him (a very Wonderful cake too) afterwards we had a game of football (well just throwing, us girls aren't too good at tackleing, especially the guys......besides, who wants to be smooshed by a guy twice your size...well at least in my case....I am pretty small.....)Then we had a sing time.....this is one of my favorite activities, and we are blessed with many talented musicians and singers in our church.........We even have a pianist who writes music (he plays more than the piano, but he is always playing his keybaord at the campouts......So....on Sunday we had church, had lunch, played some more.....THEN WE WENT SWIMMING.......well sorta....the water was kinda shallow, but higher than my knees, almost to my shoulders.......also some of the families left on sunday....and it felt like the campout had started to end..But there was still somting to do.....CRAM AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE IN A 4 MAN TENT.....seriously, we got 7 girls ans a dog in a 4 man tent AAAAALLLLLL night.......and none of us suffocated....(though that might be because the Door keeper opened the tent at some point....cuz she was hot.....and unfortunetly the dog got OUT of the tent twice during the night......UH OH....).Then the next day was full of packing, for me and mom, dad and the boys went on a hike.......and put there names somwhere....(got that Patrick..;}).It was fun, and i can't wait until next time.......
